Our Website Relocation

Hey there, Mamas!

As some of you are aware, I am currently in the process of transferring and rebuilding the website. Why is that? Well, after a recent vote via our Instagram & Facebook stories, I asked what you all would think about having a 'buy now, pay later' option at the checkout. In a unanimous vote, it was 100% big, fat YES! So I enquired with afterpay and unfortunately, my current web-host wasn't compatible with afterpay. I know, bloody, bummer right!?

Anyway, I decide that giving my customers another payment option - and more flexible one at that - is ten times more important to me than sticking with a web-host that didn't have enough options for payment.

It was also a great excuse to be able to have a play with a new design and flex the creativity muscles again! It also gave me the chance for some reflection. Over the last 6 - 8 weeks, it has been great to see what was working and what wasn't working. What I needed to improve on and what just needed finessing. Getting the chance to view a new design, a new layout, a new way to showcase what it is that #Mumming The Label is about, has definitely been refreshing and also fun.

I do have to say, - and maybe send a bunch of flowers or something - thank you to afterpay for not being compatible with the existing web-host, so that I could have - and take - this opportunity to improve my brand and myself. Sometimes the biggest 'misfortunes' or 'negatives' are really a positive and new blessing. An opportunity to look at things differently and say 'I want to try something else' I have this happen a lot. I hit absolute rock bottom and then suddenly something happens and you see the issue differently. It's like suddenly you realise it's time to change the thinking patterns and reflect on what's happened and learn and move forward.

And what I have discovered by taking the vote to you all and asking you all, what you thought about having an Afterpay option, is that I needed to re-work the brand and re-work myself. (I have also been battling with PND - Postnatal Depression - and PNA - Postnatal Anxiety the past 4 months) and needed to re-work myself. Thank you to you all for your vote and support! I couldn't do this without you!

Keep on being awesome and inspirational Mamas, and I can't wait to launch the NEW site!

Heather :)
